“We got a lot to talk about. Man to man. How we going to protect each other. … We live here.. We got to protect our women. We got to protect our children”– Kasib Smith (Father, entreprenuer and musician)
On June 21, 2020 on Father’s day, we ride for ourselves , our city, our children and our black women as fathers and as black men beginning at Weequahic Park in Newark , NJ at 8:30 a.m!! This is a movement for us as black men to ride together signifying moving forward in the best interest of ourselves and our community. Newark’s I.M.P.A.C.T is in support of this event and calling on you to support this initiative by Kasib Smith and friends. You can bring a tricycle, bicycle , and unicycle. It does not matter!! Just bring unconditional love and support to this event. Let’s celebrate one another as fathers and fellow black men. Here is the route:
Start at the entrance of Weequahic Park at Meeker Avenue
Next to Broad and Market
Up Market Street to Bergen Street
Back down Nye Avenue to Weequahic
